Position Overview
We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a great opportunity for certified operators looking for stable employment with room for growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers safely and efficiently
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets to designated storage areas
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Stack and organize pallets in compliance with safety and space guidelines
- Assist with general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and cycle counts as needed
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Current forklift certification preferred — we will certify the right candidates
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Compensation and Benefits
- $16-20/hr depending on experience and shift
- Weekly pay
- Temp-to-hire after 90 days
- Overtime available
